Balogun scored in the 43rd minutes after sneaking past the opponent’s defense. Balogun is now up to four goals across all competitions in just nine games for the Ligue 1 team. Pepi also has four in 13 appearances. Pepi hasn’t played for the U.S. in almost a year following knee surgery and still remains limited in his minutes with PSV. Balogun, however, is the current frontrunner to be the USMNT striker after his impressive performances in October and September. Pochettino will likely call him up for the U.S. squad in November later this week. USMNT is back in action this month, with two friendlies.
