Tony Ferguson eyes UFC return, promises ‘fireworks’ if he fights bitter rival at the White

Tony Ferguson has become the latest fighter who wants to be on the UFC White House Card.

Conor McGregor and Jon Jones are currently competing for the main event on June 14, 2016.

However, UFC CEO Dana White says he won’t start building the once-in-a-lifetime card until February.

Tony Ferguson gave him a fight option that is out of left field to consider over the next few month.

Tony Ferguson wants to return to the UFC

Tony Ferguson’s legendary UFC run ended earlier this year following eight consecutive defeats.

Former interim lightweight champion, he snapped his skid this summer when he moved to boxing.

Ferguson won the interim MFB middleweight title by defeating Salt Papi at Misfits 22.

He wants to go back to the UFC but only against Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“I am going to be real,” Ferguson said during a recent interview with Helen Yee.

“There is only two people that I want to go and fight, regardless of where it’s going to be at.

“The interesting fights are either going to be Conor or Khabib.

“You put me up against Khabib at the White House, and I guarantee you are going to have fireworks.

“Khabib-Tony, round 6, make it happen.”
