Watch Theo Von try to defend Dustin Poirier
Everything went well until Nate Diaz was asked why he never ended up fighting Dustin Poirier.
The lightweight rivals were supposed to meet at UFC 230 in November 2018, but Poirier suffered a hip injury, the clash was cancelled, and never rescheduled.
“Poirier is a f—ing sorry little b—-,” Diaz told Theo Von, who is friends with ‘The Diamond’.
“I disagree…You mentioned Poirier, who I’m obviously a huge fan of, and I love,” Von replied. “I obviously disagree with how you feel about him, but you guys are fighters, and I’m not in your universe. Why didn’t that fight ever show up for you guys?”
Diaz laughed as he blamed the failed fight on Poirier undergoing gender-reassignment surgery.
He added: “Yeah, he’s a p—-… He had p—- surgery when we were meant to fight.”
Theo Von got uncomfortable when Nate Diaz started talking crazy about Dustin Poirier “He got p*nis removal surgery so we didn’t get to fight. Let’s make fun of him.” “I’m gonna change the subject.” pic.twitter.com/KE2q0pQfmb— Happy Punch (@HappyPunch) March 31, 2026
Von tried to defend his pal, but Diaz doubled down on his attack on the former BMF champion.
“His penis was removed,” Diaz continued. “Yeah, he had penis removal surgery, so we didn’t get to fight.
“Let’s make fun of him a little bit. Come on! The Louisiana-ass p—- boy.
“He quit his job, and then he was like, ‘I wanna box Nate. I was like, ‘Why did you quit too early, stupid?’
Von interjected: “He was f—ing hurt, man. He couldn’t even f—ing move one of his legs.”
Diaz fired back: :He’s emotional. His f—ing estrogen levels were high.
“That’s why I’m cool not fighting that p—-, because it rubs off.”
Von called Poirier ‘one of the greats’ before awkwardly moving the conversation on by saying, ‘I’m gonna change the subject.’
