‘Christy’, starring Sydney Sweeney, was a swing and a miss at the box office.
The 28-year-old actress has starred in films like ‘Anyone But You’ and widely popular TV shows like ‘Euphoria’ and ‘The White Lotus’.
Sydney Sweeney took on the role of women’s boxing trailblazer and former champion Christy Martin in a new biopic titled ‘Christy’, which premiered on Friday.
Sweeney trained in boxing for three hours a day and put on 35 lbs for the film, even saying she’d be open to doing a boxing match for charity someday.
Despite her body of work, ‘Christy’ ended up flopping at the box office.
