Cas confirmed it following a virtual public hearing in June.Cas confirmed that Asinga told the AIU the presence was due to Gatorade product he received after receiving the award.The Cas panel determined that the athlete failed to prove that, on balance of probabilities it was more probable than not that gummies he ingested contained GW1516.Asinga’s violation had also been ruled by Cas to not be unintentional. This meant that a reduced penalty for No Fault, or Negligence would not apply.Arbitrators found no evidence that the Gatorade gummies Asinga claimed he ate prior to his test were anything other than sugar.
