Ahead of his return to the UFC Octagon, Sean O’Malley has made his pitch to be included on the UFC White House event in June.
On January 24 at UFC 324, Sean O’Malley will return to the Octagon for the first time since his back-to-back clashes against Merab Dvalishvili, when he takes on Song Yadong.
Despite his back-to-back losses, ‘Suga’ still sits in the top three of the 135lb rankings, and following Dvalishvili’s recent title loss, the former champion has been given a boost to his title hopes.
And with that, ahead of his clash against the Chinese contender, the 31-year-old has made a compelling pitch to fight recently crowned champion Petr Yan on the upcoming UFC White House event.

After suffering two losses to ‘The Machine’ it seemed unlikely that O’Malley would fight for the bantamweight title any time soon.
