    Rugby legend Sir Ian McGeechan gives major update on cancer journey

The 78-year old, consultant director of Rugby at Doncaster is a respected figure in the game, and during his coaching career, he led Scotland to the Five Nations Grand Slam of 1990. McGeechan also led the British and Irish Lions series to victories in 1989 and 1997. During his playing career, McGeechan earned 32 caps, nine of which were as captain. McGeechan was also an important member of the Lions team that won the 1974 South Africa series and toured New Zealand.
