Paddy Pimblett announced that he would be fighting for the interim title of lightweight in a year’s time. The plan culminated with an undisputed title defending against his rival.
This past Thursday evening, UFC boss Dana White finally announced the full main card for UFC 324, which will be the first event of the promotion’s new broadcast deal with Paramount.
The show will feature a fight for the interim lightweight title between British star Paddy Pimblett, and longtime contender Justin Gaethje.
The announcement comes just hours after Ilia, the lightweight champion, announced that he is taking a hiatus to concentrate on his personal issues.
