Molly McCann’s transition into boxing was a success, but it wasn’t as easy as many thought. She beat Ebonie Ebonie Cotton in a fight that took longer than expected.
Cotton’s embarrassing wardrobe malfunction made her the center of attention at yesterday’s weigh-in. The pair couldn’t even face off due to the comical nature of the stunt, which closed out an otherwise relatively tense fight week between the pair.
McCann, who retired from the UFC London octagon at the beginning of the year, is now 2-0 in boxing after losing to Alexia Thainara. But she didn’t have it all her way against a game Cotton who landed some big power punches.

Molly McCann is one of these big names. She was a former UFC fan favorite who changed the cage into the ring this year. Her opposite number was 31-year-old Ebonie Cotton, whose similar 1-0 record didn’t quite tell the story of the monstrous skill gap between the pair.
Cotton was not going to back down, despite McCann clearly being the better boxer and fighter throughout. She was aggressive from the beginning and dominated it.
