    MMA legend Cris Cyborg reveals retirement plan after PFL Lyon showdown with unbeaten Sara

    MMA icon Cris cyborg is retiring from the sport next year. After decades of dominance, she will begin her retirement tour at Lyon next week.

    The legendary featherweight is one of the most successful fighters ever, and has been in every major promotion. Since defeating Larissa Pacheco in Saudi Arabia, last year she has not been back in the cage. However, she has continued to box.

    Cyborg is returning to France on 12 December, where she will defend her PFL against Australian Sara Collins. Her opponent, a midwife during the day, has proven to be a dangerous fighter at night over the last few years. She most recently submitted Leah McCourt in a single round.

    Cris cyborg retires from MMA after PFL Lyon

    Legendary featherweight Cyborg has dedicated decades to being the top dog in all of women’s MMA, winning world titles in Strikeforce, Bellator, UFC, PFL and Invicta. She will hang up her gloves after 20 years of playing the sport when her PFL deal is over.
