Muhammad Ali, the first mainstream boxing star, will be remembered for the rest of his life as one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, boxers of all time.
Ali’s career was marked by some of the greatest victories in boxing history. He also had notable rivalries, including with Joe Frazier, Sonny Liston, and George Foreman.
It was his loss to Larry Holmes at the end of the career that made him step away from the sport.
