Leeds’ two successive defeats has left them just three points from the relegation zone. Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Burnley, also a newly-promoted team, raised alarm bells. But manager Daniel Farke said the result did not reflect the performance of the side.
In his post-match conference, he stated that “we dominated every aspect of the game, including possession, shots, and shots on target. We also had big chances and expected goals. Corners, too, were all a part of our dominance.” Indeed, Leeds fans will be left wondering how they didn’t score after having 19 shots and 42 touches inside their opponent’s box, and 69 percent possession.
