Before he became famous, the newly-crowned middleweight champ even traveled to Ireland to face Conor McGregor. It seems in recent years that he doesn’t have the best relationship with Khabib.
But he’s ruled out the possibility of fighting either one, for different reasons. Chimaev is concentrating on serious competitors for his new belt of 185lb, which he plans to defend next year.
