    Kayla Harrison’s manager believes that she could face a bigger opponent after UFC 324.

    Harrison will defend her UFC bantamweight championship in just over a week. She reached the top of this division after only three fights.

    The two-time PFL champ and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist in judo easily submitted Julianna Penna before taking on the retired Amanda Nunes, at UFC 316 last June.

    Facing her former teammate proved to be too enticing for the ‘Lioness’ to resist, and the ex-double champion will return in early 2026. Harrison is scheduled to face Nunes in UFC 324. They will be co-headlining the card, which also includes Paddy Pimblett against Justin Gaethje.

    Ali Abdelaziz says that while the undisputed title bout was not considered noteworthy enough to be the headline event on January 24, Harrison may be getting more than just the headliner later this year.
