Justin Gaethje wasn’t impressed by one result in UFC 323.
The fan-favorite lightweight contender was among those watching on as the UFC’s pay-per-view era concluded at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night.
Plenty of eyes were on the UFC 323 main card, which featured Petr Yan’s shock win over Merab Dvalishvili, Joshua Van’s flyweight crowning after Alexandre Pantoja’s gruesome injury, and the retirement of Henry Cejudo.
Gaethje’s attention was on a much earlier fight, and he expressed his dissatisfaction over a preliminary fighter raising their hand after an error during the fight week.

Justin Gaethje wants a fine of 50 percent for missing weight after UFC 323,
Marvin Vettori, the former middleweight title contender, suffered yet another defeat in the early prelims of UFC 323. The Italian’s future in the Octagon is in doubt after he suffered his fifth defeat in six fights and his fourth in a row.
Gaethje, on the other hand, believes Vettori should at least be getting a bigger paycheck.
Brunno Ferreira got the better of ‘The Italian Dream’ across three rounds but had to sacrifice 20 percent of his purse after missing weight by three pounds on Friday.
‘The Highlight’ believes that figure is far from being a deterrent for athletes and is not an accurate reflection of the advantage they may have in fights after not cutting the full amount.
“This 20% bs gotta change,”Gaethje wrote about X. “Clearly not big enough of a deterrent. 50% or not fight. The math favors the criminal. #ufc323”
