Jon Jones has reacted after Gable Steveson became a 2-0 MMA fighter.
On Sunday evening, the Olympic gold medalist wrestler faced Kevin Hein in Anthony Pettis FC 21,
Gable Steveson only needed 25 seconds to knock out his 2-1 opponent.
The 25-year old, who won a 13-second Dirty Boxing match last month, called for an opportunity to fight in the UFC.

Jon Jones has been training Gable Steveson ever since he made the decision to switch to MMA.
Steveson is a heavyweight champion in the eyes of UFC legend.
Jon Jones now suggests that his student might hold UFC Gold before 2026.
“Mark my words, Gable will be the most elite heavyweight fighter on the planet within the next 12 months,” Jones wrote on his Instagram story, alongside a screenshot from Steveson’s latest win.
That’s high praise, considering Jones is currently a part of the UFC heavyweight division that Steveson could soon join.

The greatest boxer of all time instead gave up his belt after failing to honor a $30-million deal.
Jones made a U-turn on his retirement after learning the UFC was going to host a UFC show at the White House, in June 2026.
The 38-year old is trying to convince Dana White that he should be allowed to compete on this once-in-a lifetime card.
“I can’t put Jon Jones in a position he can [pull out],”The UFC CEO stated last week.
“I had a deal with him to fight Tom Aspinall, and he said, ‘I’m not gonna do it’.
“I can’t be in that position again.”
