    Joe Burrow injury update: Bengals coach believes star QB will play vs. Ravens

    The NFL’s Thanksgiving slate got even more interesting with Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow now slated play Thursday night when Cincinnati visits Baltimore to face the Ravens. Burrow will play his first game in almost three months. Zac Taylor, the Bengals’ coach, said on Monday he expects Burrow to play for the first game since his surgery in response to a Grade 3-turf-toe injury sustained in Week 2. Burrow was in limited practice for two weeks and participated fully during the Bengals first two practices of last week. Burrow spoke about his Thursday status by posting a photo on social media of him wearing a LeBron James Jersey with the caption: “He’s back.” Burrow said himself two weeks ago, that playing in Baltimore was “very” important for him. Baltimore was where Burrow’s two-year-old season ended prematurely after he sustained a wrist injury requiring surgery. 

    Burrow, the top pick of the NFL Draft in 2020, led the Bengals, in his first season as their starting quarterback, to the Super Bowl 2021.
