Football Playoff rankings for the season, UEFA Champions League and more. The NFL had one of its busiest deadlines ever, so the newsletter today will focus on all eight transactions and the initial fallout. But especially the five most spectacular ones. Let’s get started. Thursday was a historically busy day for NFL trades. Tuesday was the most active deadline day since 2022, and second since 1990. The eight transactions were the result of the NFL’s historically active trade deadline. The biggest surprise of the day involved a cornerback who was sent to the Colts. This was just one of the two major trades that the Jets made. They also sent defensive tackle Quinnen to the Cowboys. Dallas also signed linebacker Logan Wilson away from the Bengals. Also, two wide receivers are moving. The Raiders traded Jakobi to the Jaguars and the Saints gave Rashid Shaheed over to the Seahawks. In the next section, we’ll discuss the impact of these trades.
