Jake Paul hits back at Deontay Wilder over claims that Anthony Joshua fight is ‘scripted’

Jake Paul is threatening legal action for Deontay Wilder after he claimed this Friday’s super-fight could be somehow ‘scripted’.

Baseless claims around Paul’s bouts being fixed in some way tend to circulate for every fight. No event is more affected than the one this weekend when Paul faces Anthony Joshua in Miami at the Kaseya Centre on Netflix.

It is believed that Paul and Joshua are such an unbalanced pair that any other result than a quick knockout by the Brit would indicate that the match is fixed. This would be a federal offense, so Paul has hired top-notch legal counsel to fight defamatory allegations that he is involved in rigged matches.

Jake Paul hits back at Deontay ‘Wilder’ over the claim that his fight against Anthony Joshua was rigged

Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua and their final press conference came face-to-face this evening as they concluded fight week. The American’s respect for Anthony Joshua and his opponent has been replaced by a more aggressive tone.

One man who drew his ire was Deontay Wilder, who during his visit to Dubai last week told Bloody Elbow and others that he fears the fix may be in for this Friday’s show. Paul has denied the claim repeatedly and explicitly.

Do you agree with Jake Paul that he’s a better boxer than Anthony Joshua?
