Hillsborough Inquests- The late Mr Wright faced a case for 10 alleged violations of the Police Disciplinary Code in relation to his actions following the disaster
- Former Ch Supt David Duckenfield was the match command and would have been charged with 10 alleged violations for “failures to communicate in relation to the management of the build up to the game”, as well as “a series of key failures in control as the audience built”.
- Eight SYP officers had to face charges for their role in the preparation and police of the match, or in their handling of disaster response.
- The former WMP Assistant Chief Constabulary Mervyn J. Jones and Det. Ch. Supt. Michael Foster will have to face charges for their role in leading the investigation of the disaster.
