Giants QB Jaxson Dart Departs Game vs. Bears for Concussion Evaluation

Jaxson’s Dart Sunday may have ended too soon. The New York Giants quarterback left the Chicago Bears game early in Sunday’s fourth quarter so that he could be evaluated for a possible concussion. Dart, who was injured after a hard sack by Bears’ linebacker Noah Sewell, left the game. He was evaluated briefly on the sideline before being ushered to the locker room. Russell Wilson was brought in to replace Dart. The Giants were leading the Bears 17-10 at the time of Dart’s injury. Dart’s 19-of-29 completions for 242 yardage, along with 66 rushing yds and two rushing tds. was a major factor in the Giants’ lead. Dart, with his rushing touchdown on Sunday, became the first NFL quarterback to rush for a score in five consecutive games. Wilson was able lead the Giants later to a field-goal, extending the Giants’ lead to 20-10. Dart’s rushing touchdown has given the Giants offense a boost this season. After Wilson’s 0-3 opening, the 2025 first-rounder was 2-4 when he took over Sunday. This is an evolving story that will be updated.
