Francis Ngannou appears to have decided who he is going to fight next.
The former UFC heavyweight champion has competed just once in the cage since exiting MMA’s leading promotion at the start of 2023.
Ngannou, who has fought in two high-profile matches in the past few years, made his debut in PFL in 2014 by defeating Renan Ferreira.
‘The Predator’s’ future in his first sport has been uncertain since then, with Ngannou admitting that a struggle to find suitable opposition was keeping him away from MMA and pushing him toward a boxing return.
But the events that unfolded in France on Saturday night look to have finally brought clarity to the Cameroonian’s plans — and set up a worthy showdown for what may be his final PFL outing.
