Alvin Kamara was able to touch the ball eight time for 45 yards during a 20 point loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I knew that we were all done with considering Kamara as a starter. This was his third game in four with single-digit Fantasy Points. It was also his second consecutive game. His average PPR Fantasy point per game had dropped to 10.2 points. Enough was enough. Kamara was ranked in the top 24 for all formats on Tuesday morning when I completed my Week 9 predictions. Here is the current running back situation. You could maybe, just maybe, find 20 runningbacks in a single week that you are happy with. Saquon, Quinshon, Rachaad, and Breece are all on the bye this week. I’m not sure if we can make it to 18. Kareem hunt and Brashard smith are likely to split the carries, while Isiah pacheco is out with an MCL injury. Early Tuesday I was projecting that Hunt would have 14 carries, one target and be a borderline RB2 while Smith will get 7 carries, four targets and be a good flex. Hunt is a good option this week if the Bills’ run defense fails to perform. Elijah Mitchell, who is also on the roster, could also see some touches. Hunt is already on the roster in 75% leagues so it’s unlikely that you can add him. Smith is available for more than half the leagues. It is a priority to add him, although not as a priority.

If that is split two ways instead of three, Hunt and Smith could be useful in a good matchup this week. Hunt and Smith would be good options in this week’s matchup if the Chiefs split that opportunity between two players instead of three. The committee will become a problem when the schedule gets more difficult. Although he is still a great starter for the two weeks ahead, he must be started. Tony Pollard received exactly 12 touches each game Tyjae Spears was on the field. He’s no more than a flexible.15.1 — In five consecutive games, the 49ers have allowed a runningback to score at least 15 PPR Fantasy Points. Zach Charbonnet accounts for almost three-quarters (72.7%) of Seahawks rushes in the red zone. Chase Brown now averages seven yards per carry when Joe Flacco is playing quarterback. Before Flacco arrived in Cincinnati, he was averaging just 2.5 yards per carry. Chubba hubbard averages about 3.6 yards for every carry. It’s time for a change.
