Fantasy Football Dynasty Rankings Update for Week 10: Kyler Murray a hold, Rico Dowdle may be a league winner

I’m going to tell you a secret. It’s not fun to see big changes in Dynasty Rankings for those of use who regularly update and compile Dynasty Rankings. They’re inevitable, but they also mean that the person who compiled the rankings a week or even a few months ago was wrong. Both Kyler Dowdle and Rico Murray have proven me to be wrong. Let’s begin with the riser. At least he doesn’t look depressing. In week 9, Dave Canales decided to give the backfield position to Dowdle, even though Chuba hubbard was also available. Dowdle’s performance makes it unlikely this will change, unless another injury occurs. Dowdle accounted for 141 yard and two touchdowns in a game against an excellent Green Bay Packers defense. This was his third PPR Fantasy point-producing game since October began. He is one of only three running backs who have scored at least 100 Fantasy PPR points since Week 5. What does it mean? Dowdle could be a league champion this year. If you’re not a contender for this year but you have Dowdle on your roster, then you should ask if anyone is willing to give you their first-round selection in exchange for him. I would go for a pick in 2027 because the class is better looking on paper, and true contenders may have late 2026 picks but could drop out next year. First, I would package two second round picks to see if Dowdle’s team will accept. If he isn’t, I might give up a 2026 draft pick if he really was the piece I needed to win. In a recent Fantasy episode Football We debated today whether Dowdle would be a top 12 runningback for the rest of the season. Half of us agreed. This is where it all begins. In the Dynasty ranking below, he’s ranked at RB34. Why is he ranked so low? He is a 27-year old on a 1-year contract. No one can guarantee that he’ll have this kind of potential in 2026 and 2027. But the odds increase every week.

This week on Fantasy Football Jacob Gibbs was on Dynasty today to discuss the trade deadline, and what slumping players should we be hoping for. Kyler Murray was one of the slumping player we spoke about. Murray was benched first for Jacobybrissett, and then put on the Injured Reserve. We don’t really expect him start another game until Brissett becomes injured. Dowdle is in a similar situation to Dowdle, but his position in Dynasty is the exact opposite. He will be left with $57m in dead cap money at the end of the season. Murray is in his prime and was ranked by many as one of the top 12 quarterbacks in Dynasty. Murray will start in 2026, even if not in Arizona. Murray may have fallen to QB25, but I still consider him a hold. This is easy because he has been placed on IR. Many leagues offer a spot to store these players. In Superflex and one-QB only leagues, I still hold in those without these spots. The NFL has too few starting quarterbacks for 32 teams not to take Murray on if given the opportunity. As of November, the 2026 class is not filled with enough quality prospects to solve the problem. If you want to buy Superflex picks, I wouldn’t offer anything more than a second-round selection.
