 A fan hospitalized for falling from an upper concourse at PPG Paints Arena was a Pittsburgh Penguins-St. Louis Blues game on Monday. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the man, who could not be identified, is in critical condition at Mercy Hospital.The Pittsburgh Penguins confirmed that a male adult fell from the upper concourse into the lower bowl of the PPG Paints Arena this evening, the Penguins stated in a press release. The individual was treated immediately by Pittsburgh EMS and PPG Paints Arena staff. He has been transported to a nearby hospital. While there are currently no more details, OVG Management Group and the Penguins are closely monitoring this situation. At this time, our concern is with the family and individual.”
The Penguins won 6-3 after the treatment. Sidney Crosby was the ninth NHL player to ever score 1,700 points. 
Crosby told the Associated Press that it didn’t seem right to discuss points after hearing such a thing. “Our prayers and thoughts are with the person and his family. We hope that they’re okay.”
