Karate Combat Rules
Fighting occurs in a square pit with angled walls.
Scores are based on the aggression and effectiveness of attacks and are based on a 10-point system.
Equipment includes 4oz glove, karate belts and long karate pants with official designs, national emblems, or flags.
No elbows, no submissions and no wrestling
Standing opponents can use ground punches and upkicks, while a grounded opponent will use upkicks.
Referees can bring any opponent back up to their feet after five seconds.
