Dillon Danis will still fight for MMA title next month despite Dana White’s lifetime UFC ban

The promotion staging Dillon Danis’ return to MMA won’t be honoring any lifetime bans as they confirmed he will be fighting next month in Dubai.

Danis announced that he would be facing Anthony Taylor in the Misfits MMA championship prior to the Saturday night brawl which saw Dana White ban him from any future events. The bout will serve as co-main event to a boxing card headlined by Andrew Tate’s return to fighting.

Misfits Boxing is a much more violent event, with people fighting in the crowd to get a chance in the ring. Danis’s participation in future UFC shows was also immediately suspended after the incident.
