Dillon Danis appeared to be cruising towards a brutal beating at Madison Square Garden, Saturday night.
The renowned BJJ black belt and current Misfits MMA champion was attacked by a gang of Islam Makhachev’s teammates after goading the two-weight champion for weeks on social media. Dana White has banned him from ever attending UFC events.
Danis may have gotten a different type of beating had he managed to avoid Makhachev’s teammates and fans. Jorge Masvidal confirmed, after a back and forth on social media, that he planned to physically assault Danis.
