Dillon Danis was ruled out from his MMA return that was to take place this month following a controversial altercation in New York.
After a six-year hiatus, the BJJ blackbelt made his return to action in September by submitting Warren Spencer. He was due to come back in the co-main event of Andrew Tate’s showdown with Chase DeMoor in Dubai against the much more experienced Anthony Taylor.
Bloody Elbow, however, understands that the injuries he sustained during the infamous UFC 322 crowd fight, which saw Dana White permanently ban him from all events, have made him unable fight on December 20, 2018. Taylor is now expected to return to the ring next year, once he’s recovered.

Dillon Danis is out of Misfits after UFC 322 brawl
The return of Dillon Danis was one of the key selling points of this month’s big Misfits Boxing card, which was to feature an MMA fight between he and Anthony Taylor.
Danis got into a brawl last month at Madison Square Garden that interrupted the pay-per view broadcast of UFC 322 and even the start of it. The New Yorker was reportedly antagonizing members of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team, who were there to support Islam Makhachev.
The ugly scene was captured in videos where Magomed Zynukov, the newly-signed Magomed Zaynukov and others punched Danis on the back. While he appeared to be okay as he posted on social media, the Misfits announced that he will not be able to fight at the December 20th event.
