Dana White confirmed that Jon Jones and he recently spoke for the first time in several months, amid speculation from fans.
Instead of uniting the division to face Tom Aspinall, the iconic former UFC light-heavyweight and heavyweight double champion retired sensationally this summer. He verbally agreed to a deal in theory with White, and there was already a plan that he screwed up.
The UFC has confirmed they will hold a massive event on the White House lawn. This appears to have re-invigorated Jones, who came out of retirement in order to fight on the event – despite White insisting he has no chance of being booked.
