Dana White talks up ‘incredible’ Payton Talbott
Dana White says that one of the most impressive performances was not in the title fights.
After losing to UFC 323, former dual-weight champion Henry Cejudo has retired from MMA.
Payton Talbott, a 135lb unranked prospect, dominated the entire match and won by a wide margin.
The UFC CEO is excited about Talbott, who one reporter called a ‘budding superstar’ after UFC 323.
“I could not agree with you more,”White stated during his press conference following the fight.
“He looked incredible. The range, distance, taking him apart from the outside and the takedowns.
“Much like the main event, Henry Cejudo showed tons of heart, took some big shots tonight, and kept fighting until the end.
“It was a hell of a night for fights.”
