    Conor McGregor backs Mike Tyson in Floyd Mayweather exhibition as he claims icon is aging

    Conor McGregor believes that there’s no way Mike Tyson will lose in his proposed exhibition with Floyd Mayweather next time out.

    McGregor, a two-weight UFC legend, spent some time with Tyson last week in Dublin. The pair talked about a variety of topics. And the Irishman thinks that the boxing icon gets better with age. Noting that it seems he is younger than when he was last in Ireland seven years ago.

    In early 2018, it was announced that Mayweather, Tyson and other big names would be facing off in a massive exhibition match at the beginning of 2026. McGregor has been hopeful about the fight, despite little news since.

    Bloody Elbow caught Conor McGregor during a night of pouring pints at The Black Forge inn. He’d just had dinner with Mike Tyson and felt he had aged in the few years since their last meeting.
