Jessica Pegula 3-1 Jasmine Paolini*It’s taken until the third game for Pegula to secure the first break of serve of the match. Jamie Braidwood6.11.2025 14.29 Jessica Pegula v Jasmine PaoliniAs we all know, a victory for Jessica Pegula against Jasmine Paolini is not a guarantee of a semi-finals place. Pegula will advance to the semi-finals as a runner up if Aryna Sablalenka also wins. It will be complicated if Pegula wins and Coco Gauff also wins. Pegula’s only chance to progress with a loss is if Sabalenka defeats Gauff by straight-sets and Pegula wins one set. Pegula has a perfect 5-0 record against Paolini, even though their last encounter was more than two years ago.
