Cameron Norrie shocked world no.1 Carlos Alcaraz with a three-set victory at Tuesday’s Rolex Paris Masters. The Spaniard was playing his very first match at La Defence Arena after a three-week recovery from an injury sustained at the Shanghai Masters. But the 30-year-old British number 2 Norrie won the match by a huge 4-6 6-3 6-6 score in France.
Alcaraz commented on the demanding schedule of tennis’ season and called for leaders in the sport to reduce an increasingly packed calendar.
