Carlos Alcaraz won the men’s tennis year-ending number one ranking on Thursday, beating Lorenzo Musetti. The Spaniard needed to win just one more match in order to defeat Jannik Sinner and he did it with ease as he cruised to a 6-4-6-1 victory.
Alcaraz is now the second player in his career to end the year on top. In 2022, he was the youngest person ever to achieve this feat.
