If you are one of those who don’t pay attention to basketball before the Super Bowl then Wednesday, November 19 is not for your. Wednesday is the night to be a basketball fan, especially if you can watch multiple games simultaneously. The No. 3 UConn Huskies and the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils will be playing at the same moment. UConn Huskies No.3 host No.4 Arizona Wildcats. Arizona Wildcats. The Rockets (9) have won their last four games including an overtime victory against the Magic. The Cavaliers (10-5), meanwhile, are 7-2 in their last nine matches and now sit second in the Eastern Conference. Houston is the slight 1.5-point favourite on Wednesday. In a heavyweight college battle between Arizona vs UConn, Huskies are putting on the line their 36-game win streak at home over non-conference opponents against the Wildcats. UConn is the 7.5-point favourite. While the basketball games are the marquee attraction on the sporting landscape on Wednesday, there are other viewing options with a nine-game NBA schedule, a full college basketball slate and two MACtion games in college football.Below is a snapshot of what to watch and bet on Wednesday, Nov. 19. All times Eastern.NBA best bets, where to watchRockets at CavaliersTime: 7 p.m. | Location: Cleveland | TV: ESPN | Stream: Fubo (Try for free)SportsLine picks — Model: Cavaliers +102
National media speculated about the possibility that Durant-Sengun, who combined 65 points with 17 rebounds and fourteen assists, could be the NBA’s best duo. With Durant and Sengun at the helm, the Rockets boast the most efficient offense (123.4 points per hundred possessions). This offense will be put to the test against a Cleveland defense ranked ninth in NBA efficiency (112.0). In the past two games, the Cavaliers allowed just 99.5 point per 100 possessions. This is the lowest in the league. The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every game 10,000 times, says Cleveland has a 61% chance to win and assigns a “B” grade to Cavaliers money line (+102).Knicks at MavericksTime: 9:30 p.m. | Location: Dallas | TV: ESPN | Stream: Fubo (Try for free)SportsLine picks — Model: Mavericks +186
Dallas’ life after Nico Harrison has been similar to that of the city before he arrived. Since ownership fired the general manager, the Mavericks (4-11), are 1-3. Injury is a major factor in their struggles. Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irvin and many others are out. But the Knicks (8.5) also have injuries to worry about. Jalen Brunson is questionable to play in Wednesday’s match due to an ankle sprain. He missed New York’s two last games because of the injury. SportsLine Projection Model projects that the Mavericks will cover 38% of their money line and assigns a grade “C” to Dallas’ (+186). However, this could change depending on Brunson’s current status. 4 Arizona at No. 3 UConnTime: 7 p.m. | Location: Storrs, Conn. | TV: FS1 | Stream: Fubo (Try for free)SportsLine picks — Model: UConn -7.5
Alex Karaban, Huskies’ forward, feels like he has played college basketball for longer than he really has. Since he was the freshman starter for UConn’s national championship team in 2023, the 6-foot-8 senior has dominated the media. After three seasons, he’s won two titles, played in 115 games, and is one of the top shooters in the nation. This season, he averages 18.3 points per game and shoots a shocking 63.2% from 3-point range. He will play against an Arizona team that has a below-average defense beyond the arc. They allow opponents to shoot 31.7% of their 3-pointers (which is 170th in the country). SportsLine Projection Model gives UConn +7.5 a “B-” grade and says that the Huskies will cover 65% of the time. 11 Alabama vs. No. 8 IllinoisTime: 9 p.m. | Location: Chicago | TV: FS1 | Stream: Fubo (Try for free)SportsLine picks — Model: Alabama +142
Most nights, the Alabama-Illinois matchup would be a marquee college basketball game. It’s still a good game and two teams are capable of reaching Indianapolis in April, despite the fact that they played second fiddle. Both teams are very efficient offensively. The Illini are ranked fourth (124.1) and the Tide 11th (121.7) respectively. Tomislav IIvic, a 7-foot-1 Illinois center who has played just one game this season and scored 21 points, may not play. A bone bruise has kept him away from the last three matches. The SportsLine Projection Model says the Crimson Tide have a 45% chance to win and assigns a “B” grade to Alabama money line (+142).College football best bets, where to watchMiami (Ohio) at BuffaloTime: 7 p.m. | Location: Buffalo | TV: ESPN2 | Stream: Fubo (Try for free)SportsLine picks — Model: Miami -2.5
Miami RedHawks vs Buffalo Bulls – Two MAC teams battling to remain in the title hunt square off against each other at UB Stadium. The RedHawks (4-5, 4-2 MAC) and Bulls (4-5, 4-2) share second place on the crowded MAC standings. Western Michigan is just one game back. Miami and Buffalo cannot afford to lose on Wednesday. The Bulls’ turnover rate is high this year. They have turned the ball in 18 times, while only forcing 12 turnovers. The SportsLine Projection Model says the RedHawks have a 56% chance to cover and gives a “C” grade to Miami -2.5.Central Michigan at Kent StateTime: 7 p.m. | Location: Kent, Ohio | TV: ESPNU | Stream: Fubo (Try for free)SportsLine picks — Model: Central Michigan -8.5
Central Michigan Chippewas are on the road, and will face the improved Kent State Golden Flashes in Dix Stadium. In the same five-way tie as Miami and Buffalo, Central Michigan Chippewas (6-4 and 4-2) would be in danger of missing out on the MAC Championship Game if they lose to Kent State Golden Flashes at Dix Stadium. Golden Flashes (6-6, 3-3) are just two wins away of bowl eligibility. They were one of FBS’s lowest-rated teams at the beginning of the season. Central Michigan seems to have found a winning formula with its passing game. It has averaged 218.3 passes per game in its last three matches (versus 139.1 for its first seven). SportsLine Projection Model gives Central Michigan a grade of “C” for Central Michigan -8.5% and says that the Chippewas will cover 56% of their bets.
