Just over a week removed from his huge win over Jake Paul, British boxer Anthony Joshua has been involved in a car crash.
Former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has been injured in a car crash in Nigeria, that has left two other people dead, according to BBC reports.
The Brit was in a Lexus Jeep when it crashed into a stationary truck earlier today, on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Makun.
Footage of the fatal crash has surfaced online, showing Joshua visibly shaken up in the back of a Jeep as he sits surrounded by the wreckage and shattered glass before making his way out of the vehicle in pain.

Anthony Joshua survives fatal crash in Nigeria
The 36-year-old has family roots in Sagamu, a small town in the Ogun State of South-west Nigeria and was visiting them during the holidays.
The incident comes just 10 days removed from his huge boxing clash against Jake Paul, in which he broke the YouTuber turned boxer’s jaw in the sixth round.
Local authorities confirmed to the BBC that Joshua is ‘fine’ after sustaining minor injuries and will be taken to hospital for further examination, but two other people shockingly died at the scene.
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn spoke to Daily Mail Sport regarding the incident, saying: “I am away on a family holiday and awoke to the news of this incident.
“Thankfully he appears to be okay from what I have seen in the images.”
Following his win over Paul in Miami on December 19, Joshua and his team continued to call for an all-British clash against longtime rival Tyson Fury.
The original plan was for the 36-year-old to return to the ring in March for another fight before a potential clash against ‘The Gypsy King’, however, that will now likely depend on the injuries sustained in the car crash.
