The UFC two-weight champion is currently preparing for his newly-reclaimed light-heavyweight championship against Carlos Ullberg in early 2019. He is hitting his stride, as he completely dominated a fighter unknown in the gym.
Pereira knocked Israel Adesanya in 2022 and ended his middleweight reign. He then won the light-heavyweight championship. In 2024, he was able to beat all opponents within months. He lost the belt in early this year and then reclaimed it later that month.
