Aaron Rai is now one shot ahead of Tommy Fleetwood in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. Rory McIlroy matched Fleetwood’s score from the third round to keep his chances of winning alive. Rai went round at Yas Links with a bogey at the 17th hole being the only blemish.
He made two more birdies after the turn, briefly holding a three-shot advantage before a bogey at 17 and birdies by Fleetwood and Hojgaard on the last two holes cut it.
