A.J. Brown doesn’t back down from ‘s— show’ comments after Nick Sirianni responds

The Philadelphia Eagles and coach Nick Sirianni won their third straight game by defeating the Green Bay Packers, 10-7. The final score shows that this was not an offensive shootout. DeVonta sparked the offense with four catches of 69 yards, and Philly scored its lone touchdown. Brown did not play a major role in the gameplan. He caught 2 of 3 targets for 13 yard. This was his fourth game this season where he did not receive more than 30 yards. Brown has caught 31 passes in eight games for a total of 408 yards, three touchdowns and 31 receptions. Entering Week 11, Brown is tied for 61st in receptions, and ranks 50th in receiving yards.Brown voiced his displeasure with his role in the offense on social media earlier this season, and he’s doing something similar now. Brown recently joined streamer Jankyrondo for a game of “Madden 26.” Brown’s comments on the live stream indicated that he was angry. Brown replied to jankyrondo’s question about his health:

“No. “No. Brown laughed and replied. “Family’s good. What else? No. It’s a shitshow. How have you been? “I’ve been struggling, brother.”
Brown did not stop there. He expressed his frustration by saying: “If I got you on fantasy (football), get rid of me.”
Brown, of course, peppered his Madden character with targets and said, “Good Things Happen When You Get Touches.”

Brown said after the Madden matchup that he caught nine passes, for 168 yard and two touchdowns: “I’m telling ya bro, those are the only highlights I’m experiencing right now in football.”
Brown seemed to be joking, but for what? His comments aren’t likely to make him popular with his fans or team. They also put pressure onto offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, as well as coach Nick Sirianni. Most would agree that Brown should be more involved with the offense. Nick Sirianni repliesDuring an interview on Wednesday morning with 94WIP, Philadelphia reporters asked Sirianni to comment on Brown’s remarks.

“Yeah. You can, again. When there is obviously the ability to debate his meaning or what he has said. Or ‘Hey. Why did you say that?’ Sirianni said. “Listen, what matters is your daily interactions with the guys, not what other people are saying or speculating about. We’ll continue to improve on offense, but we also played a fantastic game on defence. We’re in tune with what’s happening here and we are aware of the relationships and process we have here.’s all-in.”
Sirianni had a media availability that afternoon as well, and you can imagine he was also asked a number of questions regarding Brown’s remarks. Philly’s captain was asked, for instance, if Brown’s comments have been a distraction this season.Sirianni replied, “No, I do not think so.” You can only tell from the daily work of your colleagues and how they interact with you. It’s just business as usual.

Sirianni was asked by a reporter later in the press conference how he reconciled this with Brown. Sirianni responded, “I’m nearly done with answering all of these questions.” “He is working hard, and he will be a major part of our game plan moving forward. He works hard when he comes here and I’m happy to have him. Brown explains comments, but says he’s not going to apologize. Brown spoke with reporters on Wednesday, and did not apologize.

Brown said, “I think it’s fair. If you have eyes, you can definitely see this.” “I’ve said the same thing for like the whole season. It’s not my fault that I made fun of my Twitch situation with my buddy. You know? Like I said, it’s obvious if you have eyes. Shoot, it’s just me trying to make light of my situation.”Brown stated that he is concerned about the state of the offense and wants to contribute. He said he would have an issue with the offense being less efficient because he wants to be the kind of player he is. Brown explained that it’s not the targets, but the ability to help the offense. The three-time Pro Bowl receiver said that he believes they need to create for him better and put him in a position where he can contribute.

Brown said, “If we’re focused on winning and performing our duties, we can’t just keep slapping an band-aid on the defense as they do their jobs and get us out trouble.” When will we pick up the slack on offense? That’s my point. It’s not that I don’t want to win or I only care about stats. No. We’ve been doing it week after week, sometimes. It’s impossible to keep slapping band-aids on it and expect to be able to win in the last quarter of the season. “Last season, whatever it was, I thank you for your ring. But it’s a brand new season. We have to keep improving and find new ways. They adapted. The frustration is a result of this. You guys, it’s not all about winning. Yes, I do want to win. I also want to contribute, and do my part on offense. “I don’t think it is fair.” Devan Kayne at 94WIP kindly provided us with the video of Brown’s entire media availability.

Brown was not traded at the deadline. There were rumors that he might be. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman told reporters that teams trying to win Super Bowls don’t trade away talents like A.J. Brown.”I believe that when you are trying to become a great team it is hard to trade players of great quality, and A.J. Roseman described Brown as a great athlete. “He wears a ‘C’ because he is a great player.” He’s a vital part of the team, and of this organization. He’s passionate about winning. He’s also concerned about his teammates. And I believe that if your team is looking to compete for the championship, it’s important to keep guys like him. We’re very happy to have him in our team. And we are excited about the rest of the season.Recently, it seemed like Brown’s position in the offense had shifted to what it should have been. He had 121 yard and two touchdowns from four receptions during the Eagles’ Week 7 win over the Minnesota Vikings. But he injured his hamstring, and missed their next game against New York Giants. After the disappointing performance in Green Bay and these comments, he had a disappointing game against the New York Giants.

Sirianni believes that Brown has “all-in” while Brown claims he is struggling and not satisfied with his contribution to the offense. Next up for the Eagles is the Detroit Lions at “Sunday Night in Philly.” Football.”
