Decorated wrestler Kyle Snyder wants to see ex-UFC champion Brock Lesnar back in action.
Lesnar is widely regarded as one of the top athletic freaks in combat sports history, and his journey began on the mats.
Before rising to stardom in the WWE and later transitioning to MMA, where Lesnar defeated Randy Couture to become UFC heavyweight king, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ competed in collegiate wrestling for the University of Minnesota.
In 2000, Lesnar won the NCAA Division I national championship. 26 years later, a Real American Freestyle champion is looking to entice the 48-year-old back to his roots.

RAF champion Kyle Snyder wants to wrestle Brock Lesnar
RAF 09 took place on Saturday night at the College Park Center of University of Texas in Arlington. In the main event, Gable Steveson beat Alexandr Romanov in his debut.
Arman Tsarukyan, Colby Covington, and Merab Dvalishvili were among the other winners, while Kyle Snyder had his hand raised in the card’s one title fight.
The Real American Freestyle light heavyweight champion and 2016 Olympic gold medalist dominated Georgia’s Givi Matcharashvili. While he’s been keen to focus on facing the sport’s top athletes, Snyder may be expanding his opponent horizons moving forward.
In addition to a new willingness to entertain matches with UFC stars, the 30-year-old Maryland native would also like to welcome Lesnar back to competitive combat sports action.
“I didn’t even think about this either but somebody brought it up—Brock Lesnar,” Snyder told MMA Fighting ahead of his latest win.
“I mean, Brock’s pretty old, so I don’t know about that either. There’s a couple of good wrestlers in the UFC that I’d wrestle if they wanted to.
“That would just be a match strictly for the fans, something interesting for them,” he continued. “Obviously, Brock’s a big, big star, so I’d be interested in that just for the way that it would promote the sport.
“But I think Brock doesn’t have to wrestle me for that to help wrestling and RAF. He could wrestle anybody and it would bring a lot of people to the sport. I hope he does.”
