Dustin Poirier has admitted that he would come out of retirement to take on Nate Diaz.
This past Saturday, Nate Diaz competed in MMA for the first time since 2022 when he took on Mike Perry in a co-headliner fight on MVP MMA‘s inaugural event on Netflix.
As combat sports fans have become used to throughout his career, Diaz’s face was left a bloody mess and during the interval between round 2 and 3, his corner team waved the fight off.
Following what was a disappointing performance from the Stockton native, he found himself on the receiving end of some criticism from Charles Oliveira, but the Brazilian isn’t the only one to flame his performance.
Dustin Poirier still interested in clash against Diaz despite criticism of his performance

He looked like he didn’t want to be in there, he looked like a punching bag, he was off balance, his timing was horrible.
“I mean, dude, when someone loses, I don’t wanna s— on them too hard but he knows (I’m gonna). He looked horrible, man.”
