Arman Tsarukyan hasn’t had many experiences of fighting in the streets, but he has recalled one.
The last time ‘Ahalkalakets’ competed in the UFC was last November when he dominated Dan Hooker in their grudge match at UFC Qatar.
Since then, he has competed six times out of the promotion in both grappling and wrestling competitions, continuing to grow into a huge star in the world of combat sports.

“There were like six or seven drunk guys and my friend was a Muay Thai fighter as well, so it was me and him vs like six or seven people on the main street.
“But at that moment, I wasn’t that famous, thank God nothing happened, and when I knocked out the first guy, the other ones didn’t want to fight anymore so they understood we were gonna knock them all out.”

Fortunately for Tsarukyan, it wasn’t made into a big situation as at the time, he wasn’t very famous and was likely still relatively unknown in the sport of MMA.
Now, though, he is on the verge of a UFC lightweight title and with him growing in popularity outside of the Octagon, he is making himself undeniable.
This past Wednesday, it was announced that the 29-year-old will return to Real American Freestyle Wrestling before he returns to the UFC, as he is scheduled to take on MMA legend Urijah…
