For the second 12 months in a row, Carson Excessive Faculty women varsity tennis shall be enjoying within the 4A Northern Nevada Workforce Regionals. Underneath first 12 months head coach Paul Maguire, the staff wanted a win on the highway at Reed Excessive Faculty to safe the sixth and remaining spot. CHS defeated Reed 11-7 on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025.
“This is a big accomplishment for the girls, last year we made the regional semi-finals, but graduated 5 seniors/starters from that team. This year with only 4 returning starters, we were essentially starting a majority of first-time players, including one true freshman,” mentioned head coach Paul Maguire.
The staff was anchored by two upperclassmen, Senior and Workforce Captain Aubrey McAllister who performed within the primary single slot and who went 21-9 on the season. Junior and quantity two singles participant, Lily Maguire, who went 21-10 on the season.
