YouTube boxer KSI taps out in three seconds as Norbert Novenyi Jr shows him the realities

YouTube star KSI may be an impressive boxer, but he learned just how little he knows about grappling in a new YouTube video from his teammate.

The chart-topping rapper is well-known for his exploits in the boxing ring, famously defeating Logan Paul and going the distance with Tommy Fury before retiring with a hand injury. He is now the owner of Misfits Boxing, where crossover boxers get in the ring for celebrity fights every few months.

KSI trains out of the famed London Shootfighters, where he learned his notorious ‘karate stance’ from Michael ‘Venom’ Page. And he has formed a close bond with top middleweight prospect Norbert Novenyi Jr, who showed him some grappling in a new YouTube clip.

The fighter has been grappling his whole life, and showed the levels as he allowed KSI to start from mount, side control and even with a choke locked in during multiple exchanges. In one particular drill, the YouTuber shelled up and managed to survive almost 30 seconds, but he was otherwise quickly tapped.

The quickest submission of the video came when Novenyi began from his back with KSI in mount. He easily lifted up the social media star and got to his leg, scoring a submission in just three seconds.

Since KSI defeated Logan Paul, the fight everyone has wanted to see was Jake Paul getting a chance to avenge his brother. However, as the American continued to box through the coronavirus pandemic and racked up knockout wins, the bout seemed to get further and further from reality.

The Brit did come back to fighting in 2022 with the inception of Misfits Boxing, fighting five times between the summer of 2022 and October of 2023. However, weight issues stopped the…
