A fighter whose last UFC win came in less than a minute is no longer signed to the roster.
A total of six fighters were cut from the UFC roster last week in a spree of outgoings that has continued throughout the promotion’s end-of-year break.
As is often the case, many of the exits weren’t necessarily surprising considering the records of the fighters when it comes to competing inside the Octagon.
This was not the case for an athlete on a 23-fight unbeaten streak who has recently departed the promotion after not being re-signed.
He’s now shared some interesting thoughts on what went down when addressing his fans directly.

Rinat Fakhretdinov addresses his UFC departure and what’s next for him in video message
It was surprising to see that Rinat Fakhretdinov has parted ways with the UFC after the promotion didn’t re-sign him once his contract ran out.
Fakhretdinov beat Andreas Gustafsson in just 54 seconds in September to improve his record inside the Octagon to 6-0-1.
Having beaten the likes of Kevin Lee, Bryan Battle and Nicolas Dalby, the 34-year-old welterweight looked to be someone who could break into the top 15 rankings.
