( Ray Manzana) How are you spending the holidays?I travel so much for work, and whenever the holiday season comes, I’m back home in my village [Tsolo, Eastern Cape]. I’m spending Christmas for the first time with my in-laws because I got married early this year. What is it like to be a newlywed? It has been an incredible experience. We’ve known each other for a very long time, and this just felt official, and it has been fantastic.How did you manage to keep your wedding a secret?It was so easy. Maybe it’s the kind of people who I surround myself with. I was not concerned about anything. I didn’t do anything hectic to make them not say anything; they just didn’t because they know the type of person I am. It was enough to say that I am in a special moment and would like to keep the news to myself, to my husband, and to my family. You are a new makoti. Do you cook?I love to cook occasionally. It’s important to maintain a balance. So I will probably be doing both – relaxing, cooking and just doing fun holiday stuff.
