The slate of NFL games on CBS in Week 15 is lit, as Philip Rivers’ kids would say.We are entering the crucial final month of the regular season in perhaps the most wide-open Super Bowl race of all time, and we get to kick it off with perhaps the best week of NFL action on any network in the history of the game.It will be a statement Sunday for some teams and a survivor Sunday for others. The six games we will air have playoff implications. This is especially true in the AFC where nine of top 10 seeds are playing on CBS. Here is the complete schedule: There will be nine or 10 legitimate Super Bowl candidates in action. At least one of them will play in each match. There are so many teams that could win the Super Bowl. We can’t even rule out Ravens and Chiefs unless they’re dead and buried.
This is the only CBS slate in history where at least one team has a cumulative win percentage of.600. A potential Super Bowl Preview, a former quarterback vs. a future MVP battle, and a matchup of Offensive Players of the Year contenders with players chasing NFL Records are all on this CBS slate.

The most bizarre part of this is that the slate was already the best ever. But then, a 44 year old quarterback who has been retired for nearly five years decided to join the party. Philip Rivers said, “Daggumit! Let’s go!” Rivers’ return to CBS is the cherry to top a day of NFL action that is a must watch. Here are my top 10 things you should watch.
1. We owe the NFL writers a big thank you for this. This is the most interesting storyline in the NFL so far. It is hard to imagine the sheer joy and shock of Philip Rivers, who came out of retirement in order to save the Colts from an historic collapse.
