He graduated in 2018 from the University of Huddersfield after completing a course on Sports Journalism. Eight months later, he started at Snack as part of the editorial team. He is a big Arsenal fan but has also covered clubs like Leeds United, Celtic, Sunderland and many more. His football knowledge spans a wide range. Matt was appointed chief editor in late 2021 after a stint as FFC’s assistant editor.
His experience counts work at the Press Association, where he was featured on Sky Sports & The Daily Mail. Prior to joining Snack, he worked as the Arsenal editor for VAVEL and then the Premier League editor. Matt also has experience working in club media, having worked for Chesterfield FC throughout the 2017/18 season.
His voice can be heard on Love Sport Radio and Arsenal Fan TV, as well as in various football podcasts.
