With Khamzat Chimaev’s continued dominance in the sport, UFC icon Joe Rogan believes there is only one fighter who could potentially go on to dethrone him.
Khamzat Chimaev achieved his ultimate goal of becoming the UFC champion by dethroning Dricus DuPlessis with a dominant performance at UFC 319.
His title win came five years after making his debut in the promotion, and from his very first fight under the UFC banner, it became clear that ‘Borz’ had potential to go on to be one of the greatest fighters of all time.
Unfortunately, though, inactivity has always hindered Chimaev’s greatness, and following a recent update, fans were unhappy to find out that he likely won’t make his first title defense for at least a year.
